Travel in Greek Islands

The Greek Islands
It is traveling from island to island as we realize the beauty of this part of the globle. At the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea, at the entrance to the Black Sea and to Turkey is Greece.
On these sometimes steep and barren islands breath an air of Olympus and lost paradise. This explains why the ancient Greeks were convinced that the gods were there near them somewhere in this welcoming nature and dangerous. This change of state could only come from a mood swing of a God.
Following the usual image.

Depression on Britain

Blues

Equipped with a film camera Leica M6 over 30 years of a 35 mm lens and an ISO 400 film in black and white, I approach a dike that I know well, to try to capture the wave power, wind and ocean.
A depression in the early spring, it's still a little surprising, the air is soft and it is almost safe.
But perhaps the Easter storm season when cold air masses meet brutally hot air masses ... assured Depression.

What you absolutely must do in Athens!

You are traveling to Athens? Here is the list of places to see!
The Acropolis and the Parthenon
The Acropolis is the high city of Athens, is a sort of fortified town, a citadel where people could take refuge during the attacks.
Within the Acropolis in Athens are many temples including the Parthenon, the temple built in honor of Athena, goddess of war and wisdom but also protective of the City.

At the top of Syntagma is the Greek Parliament, an impressive building.
At the foot of the Greek Parliament is the tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
When you face the parliament, the presidential palace is located on your left.
You can admire the changing of the guard is a real spectacle. Greek folklore is at hand.

Plaka
Plaka is a neighborhood of Athens, located below the Acropolis, there are very many other shops and taverns.
The streets are always overrun with Greek walkers and tourists worldwide.

Lycabettus Hill and 360 degree views breathtaking the entire city of Athens

Since the place of incorporation you follow the Greek parliament on the left and then gradually you will see the Embassy of France, at that point you turn left, then begin a long walk in search of the stairs that allow you to climb to the park located at the foot of Lycabettus Hill ...
Lycabettus Hill is the highest point of the city of Athens
Lycabettus Hill is the highest point of the city of Athens
This hill, consisting essentially of limestone, rises to 277 meters above sea level at its top is a charming little chapel and a panoramic restaurant. Since 1965 a funicular takes you to the "summit" for 7 euros ... For my part I prefer the ascent on foot, at least we appreciate the Panorama at fair value.
The temple of Zeus or Olympeion
This is one of the most significant places of Athens. This temple was completed in the year -131 BC. There are only 15 columns standing. The construction of the temple dates of the fifth BC, making it one of the oldest ancient Greek temple.

Mosnastiraki
One of the busiest places in the city, it is here that finds all the hipsters of the city of Athens.
Ironically it is also in this same area that can be found in antique shops city.
The small fishing port and marina Mikrolimano
The taverns were built on the platform, so at first you will not see the small port.
The port of Mikrolimano is very nice place where it is always nice dinner to be sure to spend a pleasant late afternoon.
