Some time ago I did an article on the city of Bruges. Me forward a little I said that Bruges was the prettiest city in Belgium. An avid reader had pointed out to me that in fact it was the most beautiful city Ghent in Belgium.
To avoid controversy I did not say anything and I went quietly in Ghent you ... And I announced Ghent absolutely magnificent. A city where life is good and where the locals are quite happy.
However, and to my relief, it is beautiful and well Bruges which is in my humble opinion is the most beautiful city in Belgium.
As against Ghent is a city is still worth a visit. It is even a big enough city to live there without getting bored.
