Depression on Britain

Blues

Equipped with a film camera Leica M6 over 30 years of a 35 mm lens and an ISO 400 film in black and white, I approach a dike that I know well, to try to capture the wave power, wind and ocean.
A depression in the early spring, it's still a little surprising, the air is soft and it is almost safe.
But perhaps the Easter storm season when cold air masses meet brutally hot air masses ... assured Depression.

The sea rages
The sea rages
The dike protects men
The dike protects men
A sea package gushes over the dam
A sea package gushes over the dam
Eternal pride of men who want to defy the elements
Eternal pride of men who want to defy the elements
Overwhelmed
Overwhelmed
It is almost impossible to guess the size of the waves ... it's frustrating.
It is almost impossible to guess the size of the waves ... it's frustrating.
The waves relentlessly attack
The waves relentlessly attack
the waves are overflowing in sunny Easter Sunday
the waves are overflowing in sunny Easter Sunday
And the sea buried the small Breton jetty
And the sea buried the small Breton jetty
it was so peaceful
it was so peaceful
Closer to the action, happily on the beach is not at risk
Closer to the action, happily on the beach is not at risk
The sky is covered with many shades of gray
The sky is covered with many shades of gray
A wave explodes on the dike
A wave explodes on the dike
